Heart Disease in Women

Heart disease is not just a man's problem. In fact, according to the American Heart Association, one in three women dies from cardiovascular disease. It is important to be aware of and educated about heart attack prevention, risks, and to recognize the symptoms of heart attack and stroke. Unfortunately, too many women let symptoms go, or don't recognize they are having a heart attack. Women are often diagnosed late, and are more likely than men to become disabled or die from a heart attack.
