Breast Cancer and Breast Disease

Breast changes are often common for women, some of which are related to age and hormone levels. Breasts can also feel sore or tender at certain times in a woman's cycle. Some changes are caused by a condition known as Fibrocystic breast disease. This condition often causes the breast to change size, and feel lumpy or granular.

Fibrocystic Breast Disease is often questioned among professionals as to whether or not it is a disease, but rather a harmless condition that women commonly experience. Still others argue that fibroids could be some sort of precursor to breast cancer in the future. In either case, the symptoms can cause much discomfort for women and should always be checked out by their health care provider.
